***Beetroot and Dill Essential Oil Dip***
Inspired by Jo from Nutriente, made by Amy @naturallyjoyous Phone 0405 377 298
I made this dip recently for my birthday gathering and it was a huge hit.... so I wanted to share this incredibly easy yet totally tasty homemade wholesome goodness with you all :)
No time to cook? Too busy with the kids or maybe you need some ideas for Christmas?
Here is a great time saving, delicious, home made dip that will have everyone delighted, sure to be a crowd pleaser!
Ingredients:
4 or 5 beetroots, roughly chopped (depending on the size)
2 tbs natural greek yogurt
1 drop of dill essential oil
(or some organic fresh dill)
Method:
Chop beetroot into chunks, place on lined baking tray and cook for about 30 mins, at 180 degrees.... test with a fork, when they feel soft grab them out of the oven.
Throw them in the blender, whizz, then transfer into a bowl.
Add the greek yogurt, mix well and then add one drop of the gorgeous dill essential oil (if two drops come out, that's fine)
And there you have it, homemade goodness!
Enjoy with toasted baguette, crackers or your favourite sliced veggie stix :)
Dill essential oil: FAST FACTS:

***Lemon Slice: Re Vamped!***
:::Lemon Essential Oil Balls:::
Amy Joyous Marais - www.facebook.com/naturallyjoyous Phone 0405 377 298
Lemon's are amazing! You can make sooo much with them and you can use lemon essential oil in so many different ways; from adding a few drops in your water, to cleaning a sticky rego sticker off your car window and adding a few drops into your washing machine for extra freshness............
Lemon slice is one of the most loved slices there is...... it's tangy, fresh, zesty goodness is irresistible and well known by many.
My mum used to always make it for parties, gatherings and weekend guests and so did my Nana. She gave me a little recipe book when I was 10 and I still use it today.
The recipes are great, however since I have been on my healthy wholefoods quest, I have realised that the ingredients are not all that healthy for you :)
These days it's all about taking those old ingredients and choosing healthy, nutritional alternatives!
Crushed biscuits, condensed milk and butter.... hmmmm time to re invent an old classic :)
What you will need:
2 cups of almond pulp (left over from making almond milk, see almond milk blog for details)
1 tablespoon of cacao
1 cup of soaked dates
3-4 tablespoons of maple syrup/agave/honey
4 - 8 drops of Young Living essential oil (depending on how lemony you like it)
Juice and rind of 1 lemon
1 cup of dessicated coconut
1/3 cup of coconut oil
Shredded coconut for rolling in
One of the easiest snacks you will ever make:
Drain the dates, place them in a blender and wizz until mushy.
In a bowl, mix together the almond pulp, cacao and dessicated coconut. Add lemon essential oil, lemon rind and juice. (why not splash a few essential oil drops on your belly too, very uplifting and great for your skin!!! Cover up if going out into the sun)
Add the mushy dates, maple syrup and the melted coconut oil.
Mix well :)
(feel free to add more maple syrup/honey and less lemon juice)
Grab your kids, wash their hands and start rolling:
With a little bit of mixture make some balls as big as a golf ball and roll them in the shredded coconut.
*Optional: If you have a real sweet tooth, love lemon icing and can't think of eating them without it, go for it! Roll them in the icing, its totally up to you :)
Place them in the fridge.......... after eating a few of course.....
And enjoy straight from the fridge with family and friends!!
I adore these balls, they are great for kids, gluten and dairy free and are made with loving kindness.......
If you love lemon slice, please give this a go, and let me know what you think :)
With Love, JOY and Gratitude,

**WEIGHT LOSS, WEIGHT GAIN** - It's your choice!
We are all beautiful, unique beings... with our own independent style, shape and views of the world..... how exciting does this make our lives?.................. Yet, we all strive to reach our optimal weight.
Weight is a huge conversation point, a massive money maker in the big nasty greedy commercial advertising and marketing world of diets, shakes, pills and 'quick fix' products. Seriously we all know that if you spray a mist into your mouth you're not going to shed 5 kg instantly right? Who else saw that last year on one of the morning shows? "But first here is a word from Moira"
I love what I do!! I get to socialise, I meet a lot of people while doing classes, workshops, having festival stalls and playing at kids playgrounds. The most commonly asked question I get asked is "Do you have an oil for weight lose?" Well, "Of course!" I say.......... "there is an oil for everything" :)
So what works and what doesn't?......
Well, I am speaking from my own personal direct experience here.
My passion is natural health, specialising in Young Living essential oils that yes you can ingest, how amazing is that! I read a lot, I search for truth, I love science, yes I am a bit of a nerd and I am forever opening up my chemical maze book to see what really is in all the well advertised diet propaganda ... is it made from wholefoods? Is it plant based or is it synthetically made? Is there a mystery word such as 'fragrance' listed under the ingredients list? And does your body know what to do with it?
My healthy lifestyle path started after I had my first daughter Zola, however it wasn't until I had my second daughter, Indie that I really started to become more conscious and aware about what I was actually putting in my mouth and what it was doing to my body.
I thought to myself well, I know that I have to be careful of what I apply to my skin, my hair, teeth etc, what toxic sprays not to use around the home (pretty much all the ones advertised!) and what cleaning products to step away from, but now to food......
Before then I like to think of myself as an unconscious being, eating whatever, drinking, partying and entertaining..... that was my life, I loved socialising (and still do, but differently these days :) )

Like most new mums I put on about 20 kg during each pregnancy and was told "oh you're eating for two, eat what ever you like" And I did, mostly ice cream, smoothies and banana thick shakes.... (knowing what I know now however I would have eaten a lot differently)
I have never been on a 'diet', however I am a lover of cleansing my body with natural organic (where ever possible) wholesome super foods, including veggies, grains, nuts and fruits. The more I educate myself through workshops, classes, seminars, conferences and conventions the more my entire perception of life changes. The old beliefs I learnt from my parents, family, teachers and experiences disappear, and this makes me feel incredibly empowered.
If you are happy with your body.... awesome, celebrate it, embrace it and love it. If you feel you could improve in some way.... set your intention, work on loving yourself and nourish your body with pure quality wholefoods. Take a step back from processed food, become aware of your choices.
So what worked for me?
1. I stopped eating sugar!!!!
Yes we all know of the book 'sugar is poison' - it is.
I replaced it with maple syrup and dates :)
Processed sugar has no real nutritional value (minerals, vitamins and fibre) and as a result, has a deteriorating effect on the endocrine system, causing sugar consumption to be one of the 3 major causes of degenerative disease. Cancer loves sugar!!
2. I stopped ingesting a massive amount of dairy. Humans rely so heavily on cows milk, when you think about it, why should we? Give it back to the calves, it's their milk. Just like our breast milk belongs to our babies!
I now make my own almond milk (check out my post blogs) I still have the occasional slice of feta, halloumi and scoop of ice cream with the girls... you still have to enjoy little treats, however I find I am slowly replacing everything with kind, plant based alternatives, which are healthier, lean and clean versions! The other day I stumbled upon the most amazing coconut ice cream, so delicious with no dairy, I have since found a recipe to make my own so I will will be doing that over the next few weeks! After I stopped drinking so much cows milk as well, I found that I wasn't having frequent runny stools and my digestion feels a lot more stable.......
3. I added drops of grapefruit essential oil into my stainless steel water bottle or glass everyday. Starting at one the first day, two drops the second and so on.... I LOVE THE TASTE of this oil, its incredible!!!
Grapefruit is very popular among individuals trying to lose weight and for good reason. Japanese researchers have shown that the scent of grapefruit oil affects autonomic nerves, enhances fat burning through the liver, and reduces appetite and body weight.
Grapefruit essential oil may help with migraine headaches, obesity, premenstrual tension, and stress. It may also have a cleansing effect on the kidneys, lymphatic system and the vascular system. It is rich in the powerful antioxidant d-limonene and is nourishing to the skin.
Amazing for dissolving cellulite, it so uplifting and tastes devine....... really everyone should have a bottle of this in their bags as there is so many health benefits to this incredible oil which tastes nothing like the sour/bitter fruit which I still am not a huge fan of.
I also used Tangerine, Orange, Lemon, Peppermint and Citrus Fresh (Young Living blend) in my water after a few months to mix up the flavour. They all have their own amazing and unique healthy benefits!
4. I made fresh juice daily: Check out my juice blog here: tips/recipes and what kind of juicer to get! http://naturallyjoyous.blogspot.com.au/2012/03/whats-in-your-juicer.html
Juice makes you feel alive, cleansed, vibrant and joyous!!! I love to juice kale, silver beet, celery, carrot, pineapple and ginger :) Slim down with ease, while receiving all of your vital nutrients from fresh wholefoods.
5. I drink 30 mls to 90 mls a day of NingXia Red depending on how my immune system and energy is feeling. What is NingXia Red? It's a super power packed antioxidant drink made from wholefoods and essential oils. Incredibly beneficial for all of our body systems. (Read my April blog to find out more)
6. Every few of days I drank a balance complete shake for breaky adding banana, a tiny bit of maca powder, slippery elm powder and a drizzle of maple syrup.
Totally delish. You dont have to add anything to this yummy drink......
Balance Complete from Young Living is a nutrient rich super food vanilla shake that activates, builds and cleanses your entire system and is plant based not synthetically made which is sooo important for your body. If you don't know what is written under the word ingredients then how is your body meant to know what to do with it? Sooo many shakes out their are made synthetically and artificially.
7. I started eating lots of super grains, nuts and seeds!
On the other days for breaky I had either................. a bowl of organic porridge, some quinoa flakes, chia seeds, LSA mix, pecans, walnuts, hemp seeds, organic greek yogurt and maple syrup (or chopped dates).................... or sour dough rye toast with avocado, fried tomatoes, blanched spinach and crumbed feta.
Through out the day - organic roasted pumpkin seeds, sesame and sunflower seeds, cashews, walnuts and pecans. You can even blend your favourites together with some dates and maple syrup and make some energy bars!
8. I practise yoga everyday..... very basic yoga might I add, my first yoga experience was back at Uni in 1998 and I fell in love instantly... I mostly just do 3 rounds of salute to the sun... it works amazingly and I feel so clear, balanced and more patient in respect to my little girls (they even do it with me sometimes and or end up on my back, very cute)
I occasionally throw in some squats, push ups, a plank and the bicycle to help strengthen and tone my body.
9. I read a lot of personal development and motivating books/magazines to keep me feeling fresh and inspired. And each morning I read one empowering quote from a little fat Present Moment book by Louise L Hay which is placed on my bed side table.
10. I run around with my girls like a crazy mama in our back yard and in local parks, playgrounds. AND I love to DANCE with my gorgeous girls, so very cute watching them shake their bottoms, swing their hips and arms about and bend their knees..... It gets your heart rate going, makes you do big belly laughs, creates a joyous environment and you get to listen to your favourite music!
So, there you have it. Oils in water, fresh whole foods, positive mindfullness and finding my inner child again.
Keep it fun, keep it pure and LOVE yourself first and foremost.

Top 10 Health Benefits of Young Living Essential oils
By Amy @ Naturally Joyous Phone 0405 377 298 Australia ( www.facebook.com/naturallyjoyous)1. Provide Natural Synthetic Free Pain Relief
Essential oils are fabulous for pain relief..... I have always suffered sciatica ever since I could remember and as a result have tried all different therapies (acupuncture, shiatsu, osteopathy, chiro, swedish massage, kinesiology and even thai massage.... they all felt amazing but it quickly came back within a few weeks. Thats until I started using Panaway Young Living's platinum pain relief oil blend. To be completely honest, it works, try it....
(and the odd Raindrop Technique thrown in there too)
How to use: gently massage into sore and tired muscles, make a compress (wheat/corn bag) and apply with heat. They may also enhance the production of endorphins and activate neurotransmitters in the brain that aleviate pain.
My Recommendation:
PanAway, Pepermint, Lavender, Wintergreen, Ginger, Deep Relief Roll-On.
2. Better Health - Reduce Inflammation
Inflammation is the cause of most diseases... its widely known... What lowers inflammation? Essential Oils :)
Inflammation is caused by several conditions, including bacteria, poor diet, injuries, reaction to toxic chemicals and hormonal imbalances. Essential oils contain potent anti-inflammatory properties.
How to use: where ever you feel your body needs help.... at the source of varicous veins, on a cold sore, a bruise, a sore, tired feet, exzema, shoulders and hair line.
My recommendation:
Peppermint, Cypress, Wintergreen, copaiba, grounding, helichrysum
3. We have all had this - Stress and Anxiety
Lets face it, in today's society its 'normal' to be stressed, busy, rushed, never catch up with friends, or flat out with gorgeous little family add ons.... kids or pets....
Money, mortgages, bills, rates, insurance (how many do we really need), food................... there is lots going on....
Excessive tension and stress are emotions often associated with chronic illness, including cancer. 40 million Americans experience an episode of impairment due to anxiety each year. Essential oils are known to bring calmness, peace and balance without negative side effects and soothe the soul.
How to use: feet are fabulous, belly, neck and shoulders.
What I use:
Peace and Calming Young Living Essential Oil Blend, Fankincense, clary sage, bergamot, melissa, vetiver, sandalwood and Stress Away Roll-On.
4. Make me look young!!!!
Who doesnt want the latest wrinkle treatment, skin glowing, stretch mark free and eczema/psoriosis soothing skin.... all natural, organic, hoistic, toxic free hell yes!!!!
For thousands of years essential oils have restored, rejuvinated and replenished the appearance of damaged, wrinkled skin. Modern use improves a number of skin conditions including acne, clogged pores, dry skin, dermatitis, freckles, stretch marks...
How to use: Gentle on face, neat or rub in coconut oil or V6 oil straight after rubbing essential oils, avoid rubbing too close to eyes, common sense is required :) Apply essential oil directly to burns (best lavender) apply directly to scares, blisters and other health concerns.
What I use:
Select fom lavender, frankincense, lemon, sandalwood, myrrh, geranium, tea tree and patchouli.
5. Belly Pains - Dicey Digestion
Recently I was given an iridology reading and the health professional found that I had evidence of possible leaky gut syndrome and digestive disorders, well yes, i have no trouble going lets just say :) Sooo, I have been doing lots of nutritional medicine reading... oils and wholesome foods.
Essential oils are soothing and effective for digestion when rubbed onto the abdominal area. Small amounts taken internally ***for example using a vegetable cap, in glass of water or on a tea spoon of raw organic honey (my favourite is from the Redcliffe markets, a stall called Organic, check it out on a sunday morning if you are in Redcliffe, seriously stunning place..... you can't beat the ocean.)
Provide relief for heartburn, indigestion, nausea, gas, irritable bowel disease and diarrhea.
How to use: Perfect rubbed on belly, thighs or vita-flex points on feet.
What I use:
Peppermint, ginger, fennel, clary sage or Di Gize essential oil blend
6. Enhance Circulatory System
Essential oils are known as the blood of the plant, chi or live force.
They work in a similar way in our bodies, carrying oxygen and nutrients to every cell within the body. A healthy vascular system is free of clots, arteriosclerosis and broken veins.
Essential oils promote a healthy circulatory system.
How to use: It feels invigorating and awakening after I splash a few oils on my body after a shower, not only do i smell devine :), however, there are health benefits from my 'body moisturiser/lotion' too. 5 to 10 splashes of oil on the palm of your hand then rubbed on feet, thigh, legs, butt or belly. Follow this by adding 5 to 10 splashes of V6 blend (made from pure oganic synthetic free oils of coconut, sesame, grape, sweet almond, olive, wheatgerm and sunflower)
What is great to use:
Cypress (known as the oil of life), myrtle, grapefruit, lemon, basil and Ylang Ylang.
7. Soothe burns, sunburn, minor cuts and scrapes
I have had a direct personal experience with burns. My 2 year old at the time placed her entire hand on top of a pipping hot stove top. I used a few drops of lavender oil every 2 hours for 3 days. Had the blisters cut open at the Royal Childrens hostpital under pressure and afterwards pure pink fresh skin grew back without skin grafting which was disgust before cutting the blisters!
Essential oils are very antiseptic and cleansing to minor cuts and scrapes, increase effectiveness with aloe vera straight from your garden....
How to use: Apply neat to burn, cuts or scrapes
Recommended:
Lavender, Helicrysum, tea tree, Purification blend, rose, marjoram or laverderm spray (containing aloe vera)
8. Improve Overall Body Movement
Muscles make up approximately 50 percent of our body weight. Our skeleton consists of around 206 bones. This framework provies movement and protects our vital organs. When over worked, emotionally exhausted or stressed our system becomes stiff and painful. Essential oils applied to the affected area offer strong muscular and skeletal support.
How to use: Apply neat or diluted with V6 to certain areas in need of nurture.
Recommended:
Peppermint, wintergreen, Rosemary, PanAway, Valor and Aroma Siez blends.
9. Improved Memory and Mental Clarity

Some of the greatest fears of the aging population are the loss of mind, forgetfulness and dementia. Essential oils have a profound impact on keeping the mind alert and focused.
They have the ability to work in with the limbic system of the brain, increasing oxygen and interacting with the centre of fear and emotions.
How to use: Fabulous for sculpt massages, head, face, neck and shoulder.
What I use:
Cedarwood, Frankincense, Sandalwood, lavender, orange, peppermint and rosemary.
10. Help Support Optimal Weight
We all want to feel fabulous right??
I put on about 20 kg with both daughter's while pregnant and don't get me wrong I loved every bit of indulging in extra ice cream, lollies and donuts..... (now I cant even look at a donut) and I eat healthier and feed my body energy rather than processed crap. Mostly plant based however the occasional steal off my husbands plate..... fish, chicken, haloumi or greek yogurt. I have tasted a few coconut ice creams and I must say seek them out as they are delicious and nutritious brilliant concoxian.
How to use: I had great success when I stopped eating so much meat, (still not 100 percent thanks to my mothers sausage rolls) I stopped drinking dairy milk, yellow cheese and ice cream and also totally stopped having white and all other processed sugar including raw... I now use either maple syrup, organic agave or raw honey..... so much tastier!!
Apply essential oils to glass or stainless steal container of water. Start with one drop and increase by one each day. I now splash about 6 - 10ish drops in my water bottle most days.
I love grapefruit and spearmint flavoured water without the sugar :)!!! TASTY!!
The oils and synthetic free supplements I used:
Grapefruit, Spearmint and Citrus Fresh essential oils, NingXia Red juice (super antioxidant rich cardiovascular system enhancing delicious drink) and Balance Complete (all natural vanilla daily superfood and nutrient cleanse yummy blended with a banana, maple syrup and cinammon oil)

Raw is MORE
Well, today I was invited to an empowering event, about eating healthy, wholesome, mostly raw foods, being mindful also when it comes to fitness and meditating. This amazing couple are living their passion and they just have this incredible glowing energy for life and want to share it with the world.... they definitely walk the walk (just like my mentors Gary Young, Jen Gallagher and Artemis)
Kristine Matheson and her husband Wayne have both survived cancer and other illness by living as close to nature as they could, raw, organic, vegetarian, healthy and happy. She is also an author, her book 'From Cancer to Wellness- the forgotten secrets', is a must for anyone who wants to change the way they view food and feel about life.
Wayne started off awakening everybody's energy by getting us to move about to Zumba and then we experienced one of Kristine's yummy Raw cakes, apricot, cashew cream tea cake AMAZING!
They offer 7 day Raw food, fitness & mind/body connection Retreats, which are held at the Glass House Mountains.... First one starting the first day of SPRING. It will be a life changing experience for anyone who needs a break from life or wants to really look inside their bodies!

Anyway, I have been wanting to post about these yummy treats I made about 2 weeks ago.... and finally today I feel inspired to share this deliciously simple wholesome treat with you all. It is fantastic for mums as it is quick to make (what I love the most), your kidlets can help and also contains no processed sugar, chocolate, butter or flour!
While many people think that buckwheat is a cereal grain, it is actually a fruit seed that is related to rhubarb and sorrel making it a suitable substitute for grains for people who are sensitive to wheat or other grains that contain protein gluten's. Buckwheat flowers are very fragrant and are attractive to bees that use them to produce a special, strongly flavoured, dark honey.
HISTORY?
Buckwheat is native to Northern Europe as well as Asia. From the 10th through the 13th century, it was widely cultivated in China. From there, it spread to Europe and Russia in the 14th and 15th centuries, and was introduced in the United States by the Dutch during the 17th century.
Buckwheat is widely produced in Russia and Poland, where it plays an important role in their traditional cuisines. Other countries where buckwheat is cultivated commercially include the United States, Canada, and France, the country famous for its buckwheat crepes.
HEALTH BENEFITS?
Lots................
High in Manganese, Magnesium, Fibre and Copper, known to enhance your cardiovascular health, control blood sugar levels, lower risk of diabetes and even help prevent gall stones among other things. Its great for your entire being!
I am loving reading and learning about making old favourites with new and exciting healthy ingredients...................... Many more "superwholefoods" to come!
Enjoy :)

Buckwheat, sultana and cacao
cinnamon oil treats (inspiration from Gem Mystic –thank you, tweaked by me!)
(You can call it **Chocolate Honey Balls** if you have a 3 or 4 year old that screws their nose up at the word buckwheat.....)
1 cup of buckwheat soaked in water over night
1&1/2 cups of sultanas
1 cup of Coconut shredded
½ cup Cacao
¼ cup coconut oil
2 tablespoons Maple Syrup
2/3 drops of Young Living cinnamon oil
Grab a blender
Whiz up the sultanas (you may need to add a touch of water
if you have a low speed blender, if you have something like a vitamix awesome)
scoop out into a bowl.
Add the drained cup of buckwheat to the sultanas, add
shredded coconut, cacao, maple syrup and oil drops.
Wash your hands J
Have fun scweltching and mashing it between your fingers.
Mix together, then roll into rustic bits between your palms, forming a little
sweet treat…….. place on plate or in container and then in fridge for a few
hours…. (Taste a few before hand of course)
Yummy sweet treats, great for adults and kids parties,
delicious, nutritious and fast!!

WHAT IS BUCKWHEAT?
Energising and nutritious, buckwheat is available throughout the year and can
be served as an alternative to rice or made into porridge. While many people think that buckwheat is a cereal grain, it is actually a fruit seed that is related to rhubarb and sorrel making it a suitable substitute for grains for people who are sensitive to wheat or other grains that contain protein gluten's. :::::The power of Thieves - every mothers best friend:::::
Forget the poisons HOTLINE…….
Cars, bins, benches, stainless, toilets, basins, shower, kitchen, dishes, floor, walls, oven, fridge, windows, mirror, mould, silk plants, live plants, carpet, room deodoriser, mattress, sheets, pillows, laundry, spots, stains and sticky fingers……
One capful into spray bottle or bucket of warm water is all you need!!!
Why is it called Thieves??
Well, back in the day during the Black Plague in France, there were four thieves who protected themselves from picking up the killer disease. They used a combination of cloves, rosemary, lemon, cinnamon bark and Eucalyptus radiata while robbing victims.
When captured they were offered a lighter sentence in exchange for their secret recipe. Young Livings essential oil blend offers the same kind of defence.
Thieves has been university tested and found to be highly effective against airborne bacteria.
The oil blend is fantastic when used in a non water diffuser to actually digest the mould spurs in rooms... more on that another day :)
Simple, synthetic free and safe for families J
And of course its not just for mums fellas!!!!Really it could not be easier and perfect for babies and toddlers who are inquisitive and will put everything in their mouths because its fun...... No need to even have these nasties in your house anymore, there are some amazing things on the market at the moment. Like soap nuts! Who has tried them before I just bought my first bag, so will be sharing my view shortly.
If you are interested in cleaning with different kinds of essential oils, vinegar or baking soda? You may like to read chapter 2 of our book 'An Aromatic Life'... at only $20....... it has a great section on Chemical-Free Cleaning (Chapter 2 - Robyn M. Schow), my chapter if anyone is interested is Chapter 7 Pregnancy, Babies and Kids :) Recipes, nutrition, belly oils, sleeping and lots more! Chapter 5, Emotional Clarity Using Essential Oils, is also incredible and helped me out last year when I went through a bit of a hard time with anxiety, depression, darkness and even not wanting to get out of be in the morning... everything just seemed a bit too much, even being a mum! So thank you to the lovely Lorna Russell fellow Raindrop Practitioner for your wonderful words..... "Empowerment has many perspective; I believe it is to attain the knowledge and the ability to create the life that we want to live."
Louise L. Hay is also an amazing author and personal growth master..You can heal your life is life changing, love her stuf!
Anyway, a bit of the track there :)
So, Thieves Cleaner, its Awesome...

What is a Raindrop Technique?
While out and about at playgrounds, parks and beaches with my gorgeous girls, I hear this question many times.... So what do you do?
Well, the quick answer (other than being a multitasking mama)
I educate, empower and change lives..............
I am truly passionate about living a plant based lifestyle one that is kind to the earth and safe for our little families.
It gives me an enormous amount of pleasure sharing the love of these amazing medicinal oils and showing people just how easy it is to use them to enhance your physical health, emotional wellbeing, inner nourishment, natural first aid, cooking, cleaning and pretty much all aspects of your life, even your pets!...
My girls especially love dropping oils on their bellies and rubbing them on their feet... and at just 4 and 2, they know which ones to use and when...
Then I say oh I am also a Professional Raindrop Technique Practitioner.... which usually creates a puzzled look on the people around me, which is fair enough, lets face it, its not as widely spoken about as the common practises such as remedial massage and acupuncture.
So it gives me great delight to tell the world about this beautiful technique and if you know anyone who is a practitioner where you live, do your mind, body and spirit a favour and experience its fabulous healing and soothing benefits.......... It is an incredible technique, you even grow a little from lengthening and aligning your spine...... freaky I know.....
The 7 Powerful Benefits You Will Receive From Raindrop Technique:
1. Helps reduce pain
2. Helps reduce inflammation
3. Helps improve circulation
4. Can help prevent the bacterial and viral causes of spinal misalignment, including scoliosis and kyphosis
5. Helps to relieve STRESS
6. Helps to improve immune function
7. Can facilitate the release of pent-up negative emotions
I am sooo passionate about Raindrop Technique because the first time I had one (during my level 1 course) I felt instant contentment, clarity and pain relief and have not had sciatica pain since. That was over 3.5 years ago, even after carrying two girls on my hips over the last 4 years.... that is why I use these oils, I love them, they work!!
So what is a Raindrop?
Raindrop Technique: Incorporates a blissful spinal Vitaflex (Tibetan reflexology) on your feet using 9 different oils. You then turn over (reluctantly, after I awake you from your relaxing dream state) while oils are dropped along your spine and tired muscles, they are then feathered in using a spine tingly “feathering” technique inspired by Native Americans and Ancient Egyptians. Your back is further invigorated with a combination of unique bodywork and massage techniques.

Vitaflex Technique: Helps regulate your body, bringing it back into balance using gentle triggering action on your feet and legs, enhances different organs and functions such as your digestion and sinuses for example, includes scalp massage. Love your body inside and out.
Both Techniques may help increase your energy, your immune system, relieve aches and pain, enhance joint health and overall well being.
This is me giving my 5 year old nephew Jet a Raindrop, he got up off the table and said "Aunty Amy that was the best massage I have ever had" well, it was his first but still...... he loved it :)
